I've gone 8700 mi. since I last changed my oil, I'm less than 1/4 qt. low and I drive it pretty aggressively. Pretty much the same consumption prior to my first change. I use ELF/Total 5w40. I'll be changing oil/filter and plugs this week. It has 48k mi.

Wow bill just 48k on the clock.I am at 67k in my 06 now ;( . Have you had to do your water pump yet mine said ''bye bye see you later" pulling in the garage right at 60k!

The Pepper is not my primary driver, I have the '97 M3 for that. Miles are much cheaper on the M3 and it's fun to drive. No water pump, no coolant tubes, no card. shaft, no...... yet! Only issues I've had is 2 inst. console modules and 1 tranny valve.

Edit: also had 8 coil packs done under warranty.
