Question Window sticker duplicate?

Is there a way to get a replacement window sticker from Porsche? I know the original selling dealer if that helps. The only thing I have found is the Certificate of Authenticity which is not as detailed as a window sticker. This would be for a 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo if it matters...

I think you can order a commerative sticker, or at least a list of options that were with the car when it was new... suitable for framing. It's not cheap...

i recall that there was a guy on the 993 board (or maybe it was the 911 board) who undertook a project to recreate his window sticker by cutting and pasting from copies that he got from others on the board.

...there is also a databank sticker, which includes encoded ALL your car options...
One is located in a rear trunk near spare tire area at 11 o'clock. Just use it and go to ANY Pdealer and ask to decode all codes into English...

Shouldn't you be able to give any Porsche authorized dealer your VIN and have them pull the equivalent of your window sticker if you bought the car in the recent past? I can't believe that Porsche wouldn't have its dealers tied into a centralized database that would track the options on each car they have produced in recent history.

No, they can not produce anything like the Moroney sticker which is what you normally see on the car sitting on the lot.

Yes, to an extent.
