Yes, you can not turn on the fogs unless you switch all the way to headlights on.

I enjoyed the Auto light feature on my CS up until a fog light upgrade to HID matching bulbs. Now I'm back to manually turning on my lights to run em... but I think it's worth it.

Unless one needs yellow fogs, one might spend their time and money doing the HID bulb match upgrade instead of the Auto light switch. I showed another member my new bulbs side by side next to his pig with his factory bulbs, and he now has the HID bulbs too

This are standard bulbs - what about them is HID?

Anyone have a pic of the switch from Sunset Porsche? I'm still deciding on which one I want to get.

Hi Erik - A key word in my first sentence was "matching". The referenced bulbs are plug n play standard bulbs that emit a white light with a very slight blue tint so as to look like HID bulbs. They match the xenon headlights nicely and really add to the appearance at night or when run during the day.

With so many new vehicles now coming with LED DRLs, having a "second set" of white lights under the normal headlights not only adds more usable light for normal night driving, but they seem to update the general appearance of the front end (IMHO).

Got it - I saw the word match as in matching HID's - not matching to the HIDs. Makes much more sense now.

Thanks,
Erik

I will soon have all three switches. I have the audi/VW ecs one, ebay one with sliver (matches brushed alum trim), and getting the Porsche one on Monday. They all look the same.

Default Didn't work for me....

I have an '08 GTS.

Bought a switch at RockAuto. Looks like OEM. Lights orange like the Porsche lights.

Anyway, I think I'll sell it unless someone has a recommendation. Not worth 2 hrs to the dealer and $150/hr to reprogram.

$50 shipped

PM me.
