Ended up gettng a 2009 Cayenne S this weekend. Great vehicle. Much better and different than my old 2003 BMW X5 4.4i. Acutally I drove both of them the V6 and the V8 and was ready to pull the trigger on the V6 when I realized why I had traded my 3.0i X5 in for the 4.4i model 2 yrs ago...the engine power and lag...for passing and on the highway it drove me crazy! I have a 414hp M3 for daily drivng and just sold a 997 for fun/weekend work so I just would have noticed the difference in the V6 and V8 with my driving style and habits too much!
