Warranty
It is my understanding that the warranty on the 06's is 4 year/50,000 miles from the date the car was first registered.....
If a car is bought privately mfg 6-06, say put in service 9-06 is the period till 9- 10 and 50,000 miles?

You are correct on the dates, but it isn't when the vehicle is first registered, rather when it goes "in-service". If the in-service date is 9-06, then the warranty will expire on 9-10 (or at 50k miles).
