Put your finger under the button on the stick and pull it forward

No thats it, its very simple. If you putting a new one on its quite simple also BUT if you want to put the original back on it can be quite trying

The new ones come with a little ring which hold the connector open while you place it on the shaft, when on you simply pull the little red plastic thingy off and your good. A small screw driver is a poor substitute for the red plastic thingy

Hope this is not to technical for you

First the ECU, now the transmission.

Does the phrase "Don't Run With Scissors" come to mind.

Please, someone stop him before it's too late.

Hey, someone has to say 'Be Careful, You're Going to Poke Your Eye Out with that thing'.....

Besides, your previous Cayenne DIY experience....oh, never mind.
