Default Brought Snowshoes but,

used the C4S instead. Drove 1/4 of a mile in over 8" of snow, on the camp road, stopping twice to take pictures. I did find the limits and got stuck after negotiating a 90 degree corner going into a slight incline without enough momentum. Was able to back up to the 90 degree corner and park. The tires are Michelin Artic Alpins and the snow was light but the base underneath was packed snow and ice with no sand. I did have to use the snow shoes the last quarter mile to get the tractor w/snowblower.

I had to repost this as a new thread as a test, nobody seems to read the old threads. I would imagine using the C4S for a snowplow woulda generated a couple comments.

Sweet, just don't get too much snow in the front. It can clog and ice up.

With winter tires, a C4/c4s is an extremely capable snow car (see Avitar). The clearance issue, is the issue.

Well you'll all be happy to know I have a repeat situation with snow with the exception of it being heavy with rain on top. This is a job for the Cayenne!
