Default 08 Turbo - $70k!

Wow, used GTS and CT are about the same price - $70k. So which one is over valued. This must make my CS worth about as much as a Hyundai.

I have a friend that has a 2 year old 750iL 84K when new. I'ts at the end of a 2 year lease and BMW is offering to sell to him it for 40K. Now that is depreciation.

Wow! Although it's also idrive, an ugly interior, ugly exterior, awful reliability (at least for the earlier cars- maybe the 745i's?), and terrible economy.

Yes I'm an old schooler BMW- mine is 9 years old- and I wouldn't touch any of their new cars- they ruined the company. For my money I'd take a low mileage X5 4.8is rather than the new model. A beautiful 24K mile 4.8is sold for under $33K on ebay- and that was over a $70K car (and looks beautiful!)

Sorry for the rant

F430 is amazing on the depreciation front. My buddy bought his at list in California drove for 2 years and sold for list again this summer. He put 5 k on his car in 2 years - which is actually high for a Ferrari in some circles

If only Porsche could learn a thing or two from Ferrari about controlling supply

Wrong.
The Hyundai actually has a higher resale value due to its 10yr/100K bumper to bumper warranty..
Oh and the Hyundai Genesis is faster 0-60 than a Porsche Boxster (just saw the commercial the other night)

Interesting story.

The 360's are hovering around $70k and I know of someone with an F430 silver and black very nice. 1800 miles paid over $250k with options and can't sell it for more than $180k. The Stradales are holding value but 360's and 430's aren't doing as good as one might think.

I am always amazed at the Stradales resell strength. Since this got off on an F-Car tangent I had to look at 360 prices again and they are close to $100k.

I remember reading an article about a lot of collector cars are coming out of hiding at a pretty good discount. These are obviously out of my price range but they are starting to move.

You can use this Cayenne Turbo to buy your Ferrari

Buy the 08 CTT for $70K, export it to the Philippines then sell it for $200K

Porsche Philippines sell the new Cayenne Turbo for 12Million pesos, divide that by 48 = $250,000, LOL

Very fickle market. Prices do range considerably. Color and options seem to have a big influence. Wide World by me has too much inventory. I know you can negotiate a heck of a better deal than $100k.
