I bought my 05 base in 2011 with 82k, it has now crossed 140k. Biggest repairs so far were downpipes, fuel pumps, and cardan shaft.

Good to see that T2s' data
Man, you've got the wrong approach. If my wife was saying that, I'd be making the moves towards a 958 a lot stronger.
"You're right honey, we should definitely replace this with a newer one soon. Look, it already consumes a quart of oil every 1000 miles..."

Oh, and 175k miles on an 04 TT. Had it since about 85k.

2004 CTT. Longest I've owned any vehicle, and though she's been a fickle bitch sometimes, we're still married. Looking forward to quarter-million mile marker next.

I just hit 133K my second Pepper 1st Turbo ...She's a pain sometimes but truly enjoy driving her.Now my wife has really started enjoying and takes her to work so now I just get to clean her and re-fuel her over the weekends..itching on getting a lighter colored GTS a little newer for the wife and keep Stella for myself again

39K? Think engine "maybe" broken in They get better with age. Just sold my '16 Cayenne V6 and still fully enjoy driving the first gen CS V8 after 12 years and over 150K miles. Great all around vehicles.

Not to hijack the thread, but is the picture here of a 944? My son insists it's a 928 because that is one car listed in you sig, but I'm pretty sure I see the lines and headlight of a 944.

Why were the downpipes replaced? Do they crack?

Rusted. Replaced with the equivalent Touareg part.
