4x4 Fault and coils - fixed by dealer
I own a 04 CTT CPO and experienced a 4x4 fault message. Also, there have been a couple of mornings where I've felt the engine studder. After doing some research, I understand that most dealers won't replace coils unless the check engine light is on and also cannot easily diagnose the 4x4 fault message because it is not stored on the computer.
Well good news because I brought my truck into the dealer and they replaced the servo motor for the 4x4 fault and all the coils even without the service lights. Hopefully I'm good for the next 60k miles.

I just repalced the coils on my 05 along with the spark plugs, purely as a preventative measure, at my own cost.
I checked the part numbers and since they were the older version and the updated models were only $17 each at dealer cost, it was a no-brainer. Looks like Porsche realizes these things go bad so often that they priced them very very low. I actually thought the price was a typo at first.
A few of them already had small cracks (53k miles) but it was still running smoothly.
