Headlight Aiming - CTT
I just had new headlamps installed under warranty and it seems the left light is not aimed correctly. Does anyone know how to aim the lamps? I did a search but nothing came up...

Cayenne Turbos have the bi xenons standard which have self leveling capability. Its possible that the headlight control units were not calibrated using the PIWIS after they were replaced. Or its possible you have a faulty ride height sensor on the front or rear. Either way the dealer has a headlight aimer that they can use to tell if they're adjusted correctly.

Thanks - I'll check with the dealer as I know they are out of adjustment.
I also noticed that the high-beam light does not appear to be xenon (yellow halogen look to it). I don't remember ever seeing any "yellow" light from my lights before they were replaced. Does anyone know the 2005/2006 bi-xenon headlamp part numbers?

vyper340, I too noticed at first that in my '06 CS that the xenon headlights are not quite right. On mine, the left one is aiming slightly lower. I brought this up to my dealership last month, and they mentioned that the headlights are aiming correctly. The left one is supposed to aim a little lower so that it doesn't beam towards the oncoming traffic.
I can't validate the statement, but the headlights not being level exactly don't bother me that much.

Jeremy is correct. If you compare to a right hand drive car, the headlight pattern is reversed, for the same reason.
As far as the yellow color mentioned above, I have found that xenon lights tend to change color as they age. Maybe that's it... or it could be the combination of the halogen lights and the xenons. Both come on when you activate the high beams.
