Picked up the Cayenne GTS this week. Lots of pics

Funny you should mention oil usage. I just returned from doing Tourist Delivery in Europe in the wife's new GTS, and on the last day (driving back to drop the car back at the factory), the check oil light came on. It was at the low mark on the dip stick. A quick visit to the nearest Porsche dealer and a quart of oil added, it seemed fine. I did leave notes with the car when I dropped it off at the factory, but have not heard any news since. It will still be some weeks before it shows up here, but I was a little spooked about the oil consumption. Is this normal for GTS's?
3,400 miles, added 3/4 qt.

We picked it up Thursday night, what an awesome truck! Haven't got to spend much time with it yet but the little bit I did get to drive it, I have to say it is quite impressive. What an exhaust note!!!

Only compliant is the cheesey plasticy dash, pod, center stack and door caps. Hardly fitting for a $90k automobile! Any ideas/opinions about replacing with stock leather (probably pretty pricey) or getting the existing stuff covered?
Let me know your thoughts on the leather thing......

I really like the Cayenne dash/texture and don't find it cheesy at all, but rather unique. feels 90k to me. CONGRATS on the new ride ENJOY!

...yes, by replacing defective component, but if you don't have them, you DONT HAVE THEM. And there is nothing to worry about. Noises on a new car are a manifestation of a defective parts, comming right from Stuttgart factory facility...
...just monitor for any strange abnormal noise, comming from that area for the first 3000mi of your 08 car. Strange noise, you'll DEFINITELY recognize as abnormal...

there's a company. tech, that reprograms if you want to go that route.
They adjust it so it auto lowers to loading everyting you turn the car off... also, you can drive it at a hight setting of lower than the lowest factory driving setting, and for off road, they reprogram it so you can raise it an inch higher.
That will cost you about 3grand though. Ther eis a cheaper version, only about 1k, which is what you might be thinking of.
