What's up guys? I know some of you are some serious Cayenne Connoisseurs but I wanted to knwo if any of you had any information on the 2010 Cayenne inlcuding early pics, engine options etc... etc.... Any info would be appreaciated. Will the new models be as good as lets say a GTS when they first coem out?

cbryce,

Did you ever end up buying a Cayenne? As I recall, you were considering it or a RR Sport.

No but I am contemplating on getting the GTS or if to wait until the new nodel comes out. My wife is now confusing me on the X5 so I am going to take a look at it right now as we speak. If I can get one to look liek this I might take it in the next couple months but I am just waiting as I am hearing about all these news cars coming out for 2009 and 2010 so I just dont want to regret anything and be like oh I should have waited.. Look at it and tell me what you think of it. This is the link of the X% I like http://www.x5world.com/x5-e70-forum/...my-new-x5.html

I've heard rumors that there may be a new Cayenne in 2010, but nothing confirmed. It may be exactly like the 2009 model. I have doubts that a new Cayenne and the upcoming Panamera could both be launched in 2010.

True, very true, so when do you think would be a more realistic timeframe?

See what I mean. Confused. lol. I have to test drive the GTS. Maybe in a month or so when I firm up my choice.

2010 Hybrid Model? I don't think they are making a total facelift are they?

All the photos I've seen of the hybrid model are the same as the current Cayenne.

The only new Cayenne that may be offered next year is the Diesel.

Source: Porsche Panorama magazine:

Issue November 2007 ( just got around to reading it this morning!!)

Page 82: Cayenne gets another redesign in 2009, with the hybrid coming in 2010.

But, I don't necessarily believe it.

The Panamera will most likely be launched at the Geneva show in March 2009. It's currently undergoing final shakedown testing and there is even a suggestion on Car magazines website that it may make a surprise appearance at the Paris show this September. There are no firm info on when actual customer deliveries will begin to the various markets but these could start around June 09 I'd think based upon previous launches.

The next generation Cayenne is scheduled for a launch during 2010 and is once again being co-developed alongside the next generation Touareg. It was reported in a magazine article that the current floorpan was designed and costed over two model lives so the dimensions of the next model are not expected to be radically different as a result (so no 7 seat option etc). There are no reliable pics as yet, not even of test mules. As the car will utilise the current floorpan it should be pretty easy for Porsche to use existing shape cars for development work hence the lack of "spy" pics anywhere.

Quick Reply: Any info on the 2010 Cayenne
