! Engine diagnosis - Workshop !
I have another issue with the 2004 Cayenne....the engine light comes on and displays this icon...I looked it up in the munual and it says it is "Engine diagnosis - Workshop"....then it says "have the fault remedied at an official Porsche dealer"..
Anyone else have this error before and is it bad....and yes, I did a search and couldnt find what I was lookin for.....

Can be anything. Assuming the light is on now everytime you start? Would think it involves a trip to dealer :-(

The service now light has always came on since we have had it, about 6 months, bought it used...I was told that light was for the oil change....now it has the icon that looks like an engine too....when I looked it up this is what it said.."Engine diagnosis - Workshop"....
big problem is I have no Porsche dealer within 250 miles....

As noted above, it could be anything; that is a generic message. You could try picking up an OBD II code reader to see if that gives you something more specific to go on.
