Default Cleaning Gauge Glass

I have searched the forum and read the manual, and cannot find anything about the best way to clean the gauge glass. Tried a swiffer, but it left unsightly swirls. Any thoughts/experiences on the best way to clean the gauge glass?

Use eyeglass lens cleaner. It'll take the "rainbow sheen" off the plastic lens faces without scratching them.
Works on the Nav screen, too.

I used computer screen cleaner and that worked pretty well on both the gauge glass and the PCM.

I use a microfiber towel with water.

Works like a charm.

go to a motorcycle shop and buy a can of Plexus. It's designed to clean (and not scratch) helmet face shields. Plus, it leaves a protective coating which makes it easier to clean next time. Apply with a microfiber towel.

I use rubbing compound and a brillo pad....hahahaha!

Sorry had to be the "comic relief" in this thread.

I use the computer/LCD screen cleaner as stated above, works on the nav screen well too.

It has a coating on it like a good camera lens, so I go to my local camera shop, get lens cleaning fluid and some micro fiber cloths and it works great. about $4

Little known fact.....this also works very well for removing bugs off the front of the car after a drive. I only mention it, because I've seen it done.

Zooke Z-wax. It is so phenomenal on sunglasses that I use on the gauges as well, especially when the optics are "coated" and hard to get just right. Just spread it on with your finger - (although there IS a spray version, the gel is cleaner). Then use a micro-fiber towel and the surface will be *perfect*. There is absolutely no steaking.
