I had an '08 V6 loaner. Impressive machine, good suspension, ample power for most uses.

But I was damned glad to get my '04 S back.

Given the choice would you rather have a new V6 Cayenne or a new V8 Touareg 2? Similar $$ I assume.

OF COURSE the Cayenne. The new Treg2 has 350 hp and the V6 Cay has 290. What's that? 16,5% down in power? And you get the Porsche style and suspension!! The Treg2 handles like a Rand Rover, lol.

I have many folks I know who:

Would never use the power of the V8 - and would be more than happy with a V6
Whom if they never drive a V8 - would be happy with the V6

But darn - once you drive that V8 - WoW
