Default New Cayenne in our family

Despite the horror stories, we determined that the Cayenne was still the best vehicle for the money, so we bought this one. Its a 2005 CS with 38,000 miles, air suspension, nav, XM, full leather, supple leather, park distance, etc. With all of its options and fantastic condition, its pretty easy to fall in love with.

Nice Cayenne. That's the most comprehensive set of photos I have ever seen.

I like the supple leather in sand, but I like it black too. It's all good.

Great looking Cayenne S.
Really like the painted wheels with the center hub and rim left stock.
Reminiscent of 80s-era Fuchs. Nice.
Congrats on your purchase.

Are those rims stock in that color for this truck? They look great- I think they are the early Cayenne turbo rims, which they put on the 2006 titanium package also. Many option boxes were checked when your cayenne was ordered- truck looks great!

Welcome to the club.. you're going to like it here.. you'll fit in nicely..

Looks great.. '05 so be sure you look at service record and get all the forum recommendations done before warranty is out... only one "BUT" is on her looks... CLEAR SIDE MARKERS. If you want to see how it looks, I posted a picture on the self-titled thread.. Larry is looking on!?

Grats on the ride and welcome. Watch out for the Ghost of Larry.....he was reanimated into the infamous Porsche Gremlin - of course that is a rumor..

Clear side Markers a must

Those are the 19" Cayenne Design wheels with the spokes painted black. Wheels are a Porsche option...having them painted is unique.

Thanks all for the nice words.

The wheels came from the factory like that, it was a $2,500 option. I like the wheels but don't lovethem, and would not have paid $2,500 extra to have them. They are 19", and I think are just like the wheels on most of the Titanium CS's, only black instead of grey spokes.

I agree about clear side markers, they are a must and will be on there soon.

Holy crap they are SWEET!! I have the same 19'' wheels for mine. Wonder what kind of pricing it would be to have them done up like that? Or if it could be a do it yourself job (I have experience in autobody paint having been a part owner of a restoration business in Hawaii for 7 + years)...so I am assuming with good prep work, high temp basecoat/clearcoat...one could probably get very good professional looking results

I guess the fundamental question would be....would it just be cheaper to have them done versus having to go out and buy the chemicals, jack the car up, do the prep work, yada, yada, yada ya know? Sometimes things are just better off by simply paying for the convienance ya know?

Nice truck! I agree with everyone and love the wheels! They do remind me of the Fuchs from the 70's-80's cars. Porsche seems to be bringing this look back, with the new Carrera/Boxster/Cayman 5 spoke wheels with black centers. You're ahead of the curve on the Cayenne!
