Default Snow chains/cables for 20" Technos

Does anyone have any recommendations for easy to use snow chains or cables for the 20" technos? I have not taken the pig up into the mountains yet, but want to be prepared in case the CHP gets **** about having the extra hardware mounted.

Which model? The "Alpine Pro" looks interesting.

ps. You'll rarely, if ever, need chains for an AWD vehicle on a highway or freeway, but sometimes they do ask at the checkpoints if it's a blizzard. Is it a "white lie" to say you have chains in the car?

pps. I needed chains last weekend because of ice on the road heading up a steep private road. The car probably would have gone okay, but I didn't want the dents if I was wrong.

I have Thule chains. Easy to fit, stay tight, bits of plastic protect the wheel -- I have the 20" Sport Techno's.

I have the Spider Sport model. After installing the special log nut covers, putting on/taking off the chains per wheel takes about 20 seconds.

Any chance of a pic of those lug nut thingies? Any complications there? Can't say I want to run around with those plastic covers on the wheels.

Those lug nut attachments take about 10 minutes to install, about 3 min to remove. Typically, you leave these on whenever you expect that chains may be required and are put on in the comfort of your garage, say before a trip to the mountains. The plastic cover ugliness is part of the price you pay for speed in which these chains are installed on the wheel.
