Default would u consider selling your 'c' to a relative?

curious what some of you think...

let's say a relative who has loved your cayenne since you picked it up new offered you a more than fair price (approaching 3yrs old)... would you sell it?

i know to some this sounds like a savior of sorts, but this car has been the most trouble free than any car i have owned since an old rx-7 i had in college.

tia for all thoughts on this... 13kplus on the clock my05 cs.

ONLY 13k??? I say, sell it before s-t hits the fan and it might be too late. If you'll miss it, I'm sure your relative will let you visit

I'd sell it to my 104 year-old great aunt if I thought I could be rid of the thing.

Absolutely not. People are offering to overpay for Cayennes all the time.
It is perhaps the most sought after Porsche in the past 25 years. Collector's items, destined for the museum at Zuffenhausen.

Sell it and I guarantee you will never sleep another night again.

Wait a minute, did someone just use the 'c' word?

thanks guys.
errr, thing thing IS... i don't want to hose a relative, but they're beggin' me & it's more than the dealer would give me for a trade-in for a new one (or on a new c4s). enigmaWmn: little afraid of selling to family b/c they may visit me (w/ car IF probs happen).

& honest, other than the nav being replaced @ around 2-3k miles & the "clunk" recall the car has been more than great. took it on 2 road trips (& sevral funruns)... it's mainly a grocery getter now b/c i don't haul my own camera equipment anymore.

so it's a tickingbomb fo' shizzle? a "c"... word?

mile-wise when did things start headin' south for ya'll on your peppers & what years? mine's a my05 (dec. 2004 purchase)

A couple relatives offered to buy our Cayenne S, but I sold it to a dealer at 50k+ miles. I didn't want a relative to have any problems. Great vehicle and loved it, but the maintenance can be pricey. I don't know if most people are prepared for the maintenance costs.

These guys are doomsayers. My sister has an early '05 CTT, and I'm hoping she upsizes to a Q7 or three-row vehicle and decides to sell it to me for peanuts in the near future. She has maybe 30k and it's a daily driver munchkin mobile. Interior has held up surprisingly well, and zero mechanical problems. Wouldn't hesitate to buy the car myself, let alone recommend it to another family member.
