Nah, just a typo, the odo shows 9546 miles. More interestingly, are the Cayenne going up in value? This one in particular doesn't even have any of the more expensive options like air suspension nor 20" wheels or even the roof rails so it seems to be a low optioned car with an original msrp low to mid $60s and they are asking for $68k on an used one with almost 10k miles???

The Walnut Creek dealer is asking those kind of prices as well:

I think they're not desparate anymore.

Hi Alex,
I did a research on Cayenne threads and found out that you had an iceland silver cayenne S! I found a low mileage (only 8600 miles) iceland Cayenne s at So cal and the seller is asking for $47,500. The car is pretty loaded (PASM, 20" Sport technos, Driver seat memory, etc) Do you think this is a good deal? The seller said that the title of the car is with Porsche, is it still possible if he undervalue the car for me in the pink slip to reduce the California tax fee (the car value is slightly over the budget for my sister)
Also last favor from me, do you have any pics of your iceland cayenne S? I need some pics to show my sister how the car looks like. From what i've heard it is kinda Blueish silver?
Thank you so much Alex, looking forward to your reply!

And then there's this ...
Actually, my wife made a comment the other day that she sort of missed driving Larry's Cayenne.
Of course, she did make the point that when my son turns 18, maybe a highly depreciated CPO Cayenne might be considered for his first vehicle (big, safe, AWD.....mother's criteria).

No, it's not what you think. Since I never owned a Cayenne, I figured that by researching them, I might fit in a little bit better here.
Actually, I was thinking 993C4 for my son's first car......my wife is thinking Volvo or M1A1 tank.
He is a very good driver, not surprising given his karting experience. It's going to be fun to get him behind the wheel, find a parking lot in the winter and have some fun with him when he can finally drive.

Three Wheelin'
993? That's a nice first car!
I think there is something about craigs list- maybe the no cost to post an ad or something. Different type of car, but look at this- here is a car on autotrader $7,500
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...uperSpotlight=
same car, on ebay $7,550.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994-...QQcmdZViewItem
same car on craigslist $9,000 (!)
http://newjersey.craigslist.org/car/490280158.html
How dumb and frankly insulting. It's similar to when you go to a dealer and the dealer says a used car is say $10,000. Then you say, where is the used car that look just like this with the same miles that's listed in the paper for $8,500, then he asks to see the paper and says "holy cow, I can't believe our manager listed at that price- today is your lucky day as that's a great price". I just reply in my best Dr. Evil voice (from austin powers) "rightttt".
