blower motor is pretty easy, blend door motor is a major pita, I would refuse to do a blend door motor for customer pay, 8-10 hour job for a clicking in the dash

The "clicking" is only a small part of it. That doesn't really bother me. The thing that bothers me sounds more like a moose during mating season. I thought it was a blower motor, but the dealer diagnosed it as the blend air door actuator. It can sometimes be heard over the radio, or certainly from outside the car.

That is why I was confused Dennis. Mine isnt exactly clicking but squeaking and squealing sounds like a bearing that needs grease. When you shut the fan down it hums and when you shut it completely off its silent...... All of this is audible from outside the vehicle as well. It would really suck to find out were having 2 different problems! thanks again will keep ya posted when my part comes in!

Sounds good. I'll let you know how mine turns out when the part arrives and they actually install it.

Once my car warms up and the heat comes on, the humming noise is quite loud. It is especially noticable if you turn the car off and press the "rest" button. When this is activated, only the fan motor is running, and it is especially loud.
