This cannot be right. NOT EVEN CLOSE.. I will pull the brake cost for pads only from my Beta tomorrow at work (filed there). Find another dealer? do you have alternatives?

It just looks creepy.. if you had a female (since majority on this forum are male) it might be better.... But it makes me think... Is Senator Craig in there about to tap this guy's foot?

...never been in sauna?...
...you only see, what you want to see...

...for Senator Craig "foot tapping" attached avatar would be MORE appropriate...

As promised DRKM3 costs from my dealer this was in late 2005:
Front Pads: $ 201.53
Rear Pads: 171.55
Contacts: 86.04 (21.51 each)
Labor: 285.00
Coupon: -74.41 (10% off sent quarterly)
Total: $ 669.71

Your dealer apparently charges 1200 for rotors installed?!

FYI. I did Pads only. They wanted to do rotors, I told them let me see them and how much wear... still good at 49K miles (when light came on) and I traded before new rotors or pads again (75K miles approx.) Probably 75% highway driving and I use gears to slow in traffic to save brakes.. B'ham is hilly however so this was the best brake wear I've ever had in any vehicle I've owned.

That sounds awfully cheap.. has something changed in the past couple of years.. I don't remember anyone getting this cheap.. maybe 60 per pad.. I may have to start doing my own!

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the world of the Cayenne where you get to replace your Rotors along with the Pads at the first brake maintenance.

What more can you expect for an animal that weighs so much?
