I assume that there have been some bad experiences with 3rd party warranties. I had a very good experience with an aftermarket warranty on my MB CLK 430. Had an awful shudder that turned out to be motor mounts, and then tranny issues, plus suspension issues. Paid $200 total of a very large bill at the MB dealership. The insurer was not from Hawaii.
There has to be some good stories in the naked city.
OT, I know, but Enigma I lived in THE CITY for 8 years, Upper West Side. Had to leave if I wanted to see 40.

Most of the time you have to have at least 30 days and 1000 miles prior to activating a 3rd party warranty.. Get thee to a nunnery.. er, dealer and hold their feet to the warranty fire.

oh, Mad Fox, there will be no 3rd party warranty here. If things start to go wrong in a big way once I am naked, my CS will be shown the door faster than one of Nexus's ex-wives

-- and then I will get me a new one.

I do get to drive my 993

while she's being fixed, which would be a nice bonus but for the rain we are having at the moment here in the north east.
