Default 08 Cayenne Turbo with 21" wheels

looked at one yesterday and seriously thinking about going for it. need to replace my current SUV.
anyone have any issues with the larger low profile tires/wheels?
Shopping between two dealers and one of them recommend against it...he recommended the 19".

No issues here. 08 ride with 21" rims feels even more comfortable than with 20" Sport Technos on my old 04 C S not matter if in comfort or sports mode...

is that not more suspension related then wheels?

mgo28: I think my 08 CTT with 21's rides a tad bit harsher than the 18's on my previous Cayenne S. I also find them following the inconsistencies in the road more than the old ones. I just tested them on a drive to Vail last weekend and I was was impressed with the way they cornered at speed. Drove back in a Colorado monsoon and the tires did very well in the rain.

I would say it is suspension related. Fine tuning of the air suspension over the years seem to have been done pretty well.

thanks...the dilemma i have currently is there is no all weather or winter tire for that size rim...and i would have to endure the extra expense and 'trouble' of getting a tire package...i am trying to rationalize that versus just getting a 19" and not worry about that...of course that would mean a different truck....

mgo28, I just bit the bullet and ordered 19" OEM wheels with Pirelli Ice & Snows from Wheel Enhancement. Given our weather here in Colorado, I would rather be safe than sorry. The whole package with TPMS was less than $3K, you could probably do better going through EBAY.
