I bought a set of the Porsche rubber mats for our Cayenne for winter. They're not bad, but they're not great either. They are showing some wear after two winter seasons, especially underneath the pedals. Interestingly, they have an Audi logo in the rubber on the underside...

For comparison, I use WeatherTech mats in the 911 in the winter. I find them to be a little more durable, and they seem to hold a little more dirt and debris.

FWIW, I'll be replacing the Porsche mats in the Cayenne with WeatherTech when the time comes.

I have the two fronts and rear compartment and they work well. I also bought the Porsche Tequipment for my 2009 Carrera S and they fir perfectly. Does Tequipment make anything for the Cayenne. If they do, I would buy those.

Here are the two side-by-side. The first is the Porsche OEM front driver's floorliner. It is a standard rubber mat (logoless no doubt since it's shared with VW) and the second is the weathertech unit. Price is about the same for both however the weathertech unit covers the driveshaft tunnel hump in the rear (as outlined by another poster). It's also made in USA which still carries some clout in my books.

Pardon the crappy iPhone pics in the garage...just snapped them so you could see the liners.

Here is a photo of the front & rear coverage.

The front liner covers halfway up the dead pedal

The rear covers the entire section....both footwells on each side plus the center hump.

those are nice. I foolishly bought the all weather model and get tons of dirt and water around the dead pedal and door seam.
I'll have to trade up.

I called the dealer yesterday to inquire about the all-weather floor liners and if by chance, PAG improved the VAG-Audi design.

Much to my surprise, he informed me that they now stock the weathertech liners but with the Porsche logo in place of the weathertech logo! Cost is $225 CDN for a full front-back set (excluding the cargo liner). I'm sure the US dealers will sell for less.

Picked them up today and they are the exact same liners as the weathertech units. I flipped one around and I even saw the weathertech name and 'Made In USA' engraving.

Here's the part number for anyone who wishes to buy them:

My only complaint with my Weathertech floor mats is that the rear mat (1-pc all the way from the left to the right) loves to move forward and out of place. The front and cargo works really well though.

I have a set of Teqeuipment mats that came with my car when I bought it as a CPO used. One thing I do not like about them is that there is no "Porsche" or "Cayenne" text written on them like the stock floor mats.

This is VW's screwup. Last year, I bought my son a used Jetta to drive to college with.

Knowing how 'clean' college kids are , I had picked up a set of rubber winter mats from the VW dealer with round plastic inserts/snap washers that had an oval aperture within. When I tried to fit them, they moved loosely around the floor's protruding pin. Back at the dealer the next day and he swapped the inserts/snap washers with ones that had round apertures.

Moral of the story is to remove the plastic washers (VW part) from your mats and buy the round ones that will snap into the floor pin.
