Believe it or not, Porsche Germany is listing an Ipod Option in their 2008 price lists (Cayenne, 911 and Boxster). Price is 350 Euros excl. VAT.

$679.00 for IPOD - They are totally insane with these solutions. I understand the R&D costs and recovery associated with the design but I would gamble to say that they can sell 4 to 1 of these units at the price point of $299.00
My 4 to 1 unit idea( I hope this company posts here

$299 x 100 units = $29,900.00
$679 x 25 units = $16975.00
I know this company wants to make more money!

They call it multimedia inteface. Comes with audio connectors in the center console and also charges the ipod battery.

BTW, the Porsche Ipod kit is listed in the tequipment price list as well. Part no is 955 044 902 90 and sells for 290 Euros(local sales tax not incl).
