NTSB mandated safety recall campaign A506.
IIRC, Larry coined the phrase 'Cowboy Belt Buckle' and sent his set to Peter the Great.

Thanks, Leon. I had definitely read about them, just never came across visuals. Who knows, maybe some day they'll be back in fashion. After all, everything old is new again.

I think this all depends on location but I have heard some 04's with 50K+ on the clock get $40K to $50K average trade in to Porsche dealers. I am sure auctions will be much less as thats where people need these cars gone quickly so doesn't judge much value.

Once CPO the price seems to storm back a bit.

I wish Porsche gave some of us Beta owners the option to pay the CPO costs + 6 pack of beer and tag on the warranty for the additional 6/100k, that would be sweet and help some of us retain some value and insurance

Sure, and Elvis is alive and working in a Burger King in Cincinnati.
Would you care to produce someone with a beta model with 50K+ on the clock who got $40-$50K from a Porsche dealer?

No, that's not the way the marketing plan goes.....haven't you been paying attention?
You are supposed to be forced into a new Cayenne purchase in order to avoid 'nakedness' and/or to get the options that you really want that are not retrofittable and your highly depreciated Cayenne becomes a low cost entry point to a first time Porsche buyer.

Still over 50-60,depends on mileage and equipment... so your post for mid 40 for CTT is inaccurate, even auctions are higher than that

I should have gone for an option-less '06 CTT few months ago. It was offered at $81k, but the problem was, and still is, the trade-in.

I would take a CTTS for 90k, but they're also nowhere to be found. I'm looking for sand/beige inside.

EW--try callling Roger Beasley in Austin Texas. They had a New 2005 Turbo that i think had a sand interior. i didn't see it on the website, but they may have just taken it down now that the 2008s are hitting.

Thanks, OZ, I'll check out the site thoroughly over the weekend. So far, from a very brief search it looks like 2006 Turbos are all used.

Alex, waiting for your PM.

Stupid question, but why do you need a CTT as opposed to the Tit.S?
