Cayenne v6 mods
Just curious if this engine is starving in any way like an Audi A4 for example. Any engine mods which produce significant returns? Not looking to Supercharge. ECU remapping for example.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It's a NA engine, there isn't much to be gained.

Potential power gains on a naturally aspirated 3.2 liter engine are minimal. 250hp from 3.2 liters is already pretty good @ 78hp/l
That's more hp per liter than a Z06...
Anyways... you can go 250hp>350ish with a VF Engineering supercharger for about $5000.
Or trade in your V6 and $5000 cash (cost of SC) for an 08 Cayenne S... and a little higher p'mt.

It is fairly simple to increase HP in a forced induction engine, usually by remaping the DME to increase boost; re: buying a chip.
You can then go further by adding larger turbos, exhaust, etc......Stage 1 to Stage 4....you can double the HP of the engine.....of course at the expense of higher running temps and less engine life (hey, nothing is for free). PAG normally designs in margins in most of their engine internals and drivetrains.
In a normally aspirated engine, this is MUCH harder to do so adding a 'chip' adds ~10% gain in HP....maybe. In the case of your Audi V6 engine (with Porsche "designed" intake runners), there is little internal margin.

Apart from that, good luck.
