The factory solution is on inter-galactic backorder from Germany (meaning PET knows about the Porsche part number, you can even order it, just don't expect to hold your breath while awaiting arrival. Go ahead, ask me how I know!).

And ask your local dealer if this is a NAV-TV solution. If so, my sincere advice, offered in the strongest terms possible is...... RUN! I have this p.o.s. installed in my 06 Turbo and I *hate* it. Ahem, did I say "I HATE IT!" (That last "!" was for Larry - R.I.P.)

I am waiting for the Mobridge upgrade for bluetooth solution. Anybody else?

 

I too am waiting to see how the MoBridge will do as I like that solution. The ideal situation is that it does the BT, iPOD, and video in for a reverse view camera.

 

I'll wait until Porsche catches up with other car manuf's in integrating gadgets like BT etc. for now the simple/stylish/wireless suction cup installed Nuvi 680 with it's simple touch screen works just as well in pairing with my iPhone, great sound quality and very clear in displaying all phone functions.

Where do you mount yours and do you have PCM/Nav in your pepper?

 

No PCM/Nav, it's mounted in the middle of windshield closer to the dash, I'll post a pic...need to lean slightly to touch screen but turned out not too difficult to do
