What? And pass up the opportunity for a 'Kooserectomy'? I shiver with anticipation!

I'm glad I dug up this thread ... obviously it isn't ready to join 'the dearly departed' ..

In the P!g Pen, no one can hear you scream....well, actually we can, but we tend to ignore it.

Also, remember, it is a fine line between research and stalker.

I'll take that to heart, lewis. Honestly, I stumbled onto this just paging through a forum search on engine failure, but if digging up old, painful memories is a problem for some folks, no worries, I can study quietly. If you need me, I'll be in the closed stacks.

I've heard knocking twice. Both times it was after I stayed in park for about 30 mins w/engine on and then drove away... One or two knocks on acceleration, then gone.

Ummm.. never mind... just realized this thread is 4 years old

heard knocking as well. looked out of the window and a bum was asking for a euro... drove away, no knocks on acceleration, he probably couldn't run that fast.

oh, never mind, this thread is about engine knocking

Knocked up or knocked down, I think it might make a difference.

Next time, open the window just enough to get his hand in, shut window and then drive away .... consistent knocking (and probably MUCH louder) that you can bring to your dealer! Problem solved
