Default My new Pure Red Titanium Edition!

I am proud to announce the addition of a second p-car to our household – a 2006 Cayenne S Titanium Edition! The new car is a birthday gift for my wife Irene, but I’m hoping that she’ll let me drive it occasionally. She has definitely been bitten by the Porsche bug,… which is a good thing.

I bought the car from Alfie (Ira Porsche) who also sold me my C4S. The end of model series deals on the Cayennes are really great and Alfie made it a pleasure to purchase. We will hopefully pick the car up this weekend or early next week.

Our new Cayenne is Pure Red with the Titanium edition Black/Steel Grey interior. Along with all of the goodies that come with the Titanium edition, the car has the panoramic roof option (really really cool), seat memory, heated front seats & steering wheel, ski bag, light comfort package, and 4-zone A/C (I have no idea what to do with this!).

For those who are not familiar with it, the Titanium Edition basically has: multiple exterior parts in “Titanium look”, wheels painted “Titanium,” bits of the air intakes, door handles, mirrors painted in Titanium, BiXenons, sport tail pipes and NAV.

I’ve got an order in to Tire Rack to send me some 18” winter wheels with Pirelli Scorpions (Titanium Edition comes with Summer compound on 19” wheels) and we’re planning on heading to VT in early February to properly christen our Peppa. Irene and I are soooooo excited.

And now for some pics!!! – Note the “SOLD” sign hanging from the mirror – Yeah Baby!

Love the combo. Great selection. Enjoy the 4wd in Vt. No doubt it will look great with its yellow stable mate.

Nice looking- the steering wheel looks fatter than mine- does the Tit'S have a thicker wheel? That's one thing it needs- I'm spoiled by the steering in my DD, a new VW GTI!

That's HOT!

Love the color and the pano roof.

Love your color choices for both cars...You could quit your day job and order cars at Champion down in Miami (See TOWARDS THE END of this thread...I think it's right up your alley ):

Hey, that looks like ours! Enjoy! We got our true Red Pepper back in November and it has been great. Pan roof is awesome. Only difference with ours is we got 20" wheels and PASM.

Very nice, Dave. That's a lot of red - one very hot pepper. I agree with skl that the steering wheel looks fatter than some of us might have. I always thought that the Cayenne's wheel needed a little bigger grip. Maybe they think people's "driving gloves" will make up the diff.
