Ok, so $7,500 for a base will be good. I was also offered a Demo with 90 miles for 10K under MSRP. It is also a Base.

Are these same rebates of $10k available on the V6 model? My family's looking for a new car and considering a Cayenne, XC90, or R350. Can someone post the name of a dealership with similar rebates?

Thanks in advance guys

My neighbor just picked up a pretty loaded ($76K sticker) '06 CS Titanium for $10K less than sticker and he didn't negotiate very much at all. I suspect you can grab them at invoice, or maybe even a little less at this point. Check out Edmunds for invoice pricing info.

Last month I was offered a loaded 06 Titanium with air suspension for $62K and a loaded 06 CTT for $84K just by calling a dealer and asking what he had. Test drove a CTS and ended up getting a late build 2004 CPO CTT with a warranty until 11/2010 (original MSRP about $98K) for just a little more than the 06 Titanium I was offered. The Titanium was very pretty, but for me at least, it was hard to argue with 450 Hp for a similar price. My 2004 CTT looks new (20" rims, soft leather, wood trim, tow package, XM, LoJack, clear coat bra, roof rails, etc.), and also has these fancy, shiny metal weights on the rear seatbelts.

There is a simple DIY on how to remove the A506 "Cowboy Belt Buckles".
If left in place, they will eventually leave a depression in the leather

Hi LTC. Do I need them? My oldest son is in a booster seat and uses the seat belt, and my other son has an infant seat that uses the LATCH. My impression is that I do not need them. They are very annoying (have to manually roll up the seat belts). Thanks.

Have you read this (from an old post):

I mean this in the nicest way possible: Do you consider lack of acceleration an "issue?" I once got a V6 955 as a loaner, and I'd compare its onramp acceleration to a 4-cyl econobox. It wasn't scary-slow, but it was pretty awful. I mean, a 6-cylinder Grand Cherokee is faster than a V6 Cayenne.

How does yours manage with a 6000+lb load? I mean, around town, I guess the V6 would be okay. But towing something as heavy as an enclosed trailer?

No offense taken at all. In fact, if you go back through all my Cayenne posts you will see that I plan to upgrade to the S or TT when my lease is up in 1.5 years. We leased the Cayenne with NO intention of towing but when I decided to try towing to the track once with a friends trailer it was not anywhere close to how some of y'all make it out to be. Sure, it could use some more acceleration, but I only find that I need that on elevation changes. The V6 is extremely capable of towing and I tow about 7K# to and from the track with ZERO issues. I would actually prefer PASM over a V8 if I were only given one choice and there were no such things as load leveling hitches. I could NOT justify the 15K price difference when we got the Cayenne we have and it was more of a test for us to see if we really like it before we invest more $$$ in one.

And as for your 4-cyl econobox crackback, well, that is just wrong I find the acceleration just fine. Would I love the roar and pull of the V8? Of course. But the V6 is no slouch.

although it is mainly my wife's car when i drive the Cayenne it is VERY capable and fun to drive especially in the tiptronic mode. Why the trans is desigend to drive in 6th gear at 40mph is beyond me and why it likes to shift at 3800 rpm is absurd. When i drive it between 4k and 6k the engine sounds pretty sweet too...

it ****s there and runs in 6th at 40 is due to your wifes drivign, the transmission is adatipitve and learns driving sytles and shifts accordingly, makes for lots of problems when someone else drives the car, harsh shifts banging into gears ect
