Is 6k off a Cayenne sticker worth it?

Yeah, 6K is a joke. I got that as well without even trying on my BASE model when I got it 1.5 years ago. As Ben stated, 10K should be the starting place.

Im only looking at the S model. I was blown away by the option list available. We're used to Lexus which offers most things standard.
Of the must have I'd like sunroof (pano not nec.) and Nav.

'Preferred package plus' is a good place to start especially if you plan to (god forbid) tow anything.
Includes moonroof, trailer hitch without hitchball, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, driver seat memory, wheel hub covers colored crest and automatic climate control, Bose Surround Sound System, 6-disc CD changer, roof rails and bi-xenon headlights.

Well, I guess I feel compelled to chime in here regarding the rumors of prople possibly towing with their Pepper.
I tow my car to the track with ZERO issues. All the lights work and the Pepper is very capapble. Oh yeah, mine is a V6

Here's the skinny I've been hearing... Porsche has verbally told dealers that they will quietly reimburse the dealers up to 4K - 6K on Cayenne S and Cayenne Titanium.
Therefore, 10K is likely.
