Default 2005 Cayenne Oil Filter Relocation

hello everyone... i am looking to see if there is an oil filter relocation kit available for the Cayenne.. trying to move the oil filter so that it is accessible from the top of the engine bay... thanks in advance...

You need to find out more about the engine.

And no I have not heard anyone trying.

You have to get under the car anyway to drain the oil, why put it on top?

Gotta agree with Kevin- I've changed my oil a couple times and after removing the panel, it's not that hard. Just remember there are TWO drain plugs! It's a hell of a lot easier than a 993!!!!!

IIRC, there is a relocation kit for 968's....never heard of one for the Cayenne.

we have a vacumm that sucks the oil out through the dipstick... if there is a kit that puts the oil filter somewhere accessible up top, it will totally eliminate the need to get under the car...

my g/f's father is old and has resorted to changing the oil on all his cars this way... but his wife's benz and his beater volvo already has the filters on top so he is good there.. but the cayenne is another story...

aren't all the base Cayenne models V6??? sorry im a porsche newbie...

cayene s and turbo use the same filter also 996 986 997 use the same filter
cayenne v6 uses a vw flter but its diffrent then the normal vr6 filter

why do i have the feeling that the V6 model that shares a filter with the VW is the toureg model??? can anyone verify???
