Default Front Grille Removal

Has anybody removed the grille and how easy is it to do?

Thinking about getting them chromed.

on a turbo they just pull out, they are held in with double sided tape
s and 6 has to pull the bumper

...the ONLY way to remove any grill is from the inside the bumper, AFTER removing the bumper...

...any attempt to take grill out from the outside the bumper/car will result in plastic clips irreversable damage "wasting" whole bumper...

I can assure you they come out with out taking off the bumper

99firehawk is right. They come off the turbos from the front. I've done this on two vehicles for radar installation. Just be careful not to scrape the paint as you pull them out and you'll be fine. I don't believe the plastic is typical plating grade (ie ABS or ABS/PC). Who are you using to plate them?

What is the expected time for removal and reinstallation? I didn't see it on the download. I am calling some body shops around here to get a quote and would like to know about how much to expect to pay.

do it yourself should take more then a half hour as long as your carefull
