Default Anyone know this Cayenne?

I have been looking for a Cayenne. This was one was on EBAY

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...42020698QQrdZ1

The price was very low, based on others I have seen with the comparable miles. Anyone know this Cayenne or maybe give me feedback on what I am missing?

Hmm, not offered with CPO. I wonder if it doesn't qualify.

I don't, but Princeton Porsche is pretty good. If you call, ask for Ed Slouthus. I bought my first Pcar from them and they were top notch.

What price are you referring to? The current bid or the price of 43.9K in the ad itself??? 44K seems about right but NEVER without a CPO would I even consider especially if you are already skeptical.

The "Buy it now" is about was about what Kelly Blue Book Trade is. I haven't seen a lot of Cayennes at KBB trade in.

We've been in the market for either a CS or CT for the last few months. That is not a heavily optioned car but with that low mileage, that's probably one of the lowest prices you'll find on autotrader.com for a 2005 CS with less than 30k miles. If the car checks out, it seems like a pretty good buy to me.

I have an '05 CS with around 26k miles that I want to give up for an '06 CTT. If you're interested, PM me.

PM Bill911 if you need information on the CS. I have no experience with Princeton Porsche but I know Ray Catena usually have more selection. I would wait until next year as the new Cayenne are coming out so price might drop more unless you need one right now. Good luck with your car shopping.

Does he get the Gem. exhaust with it or would you transfer it to your new ride?
You should also look into an'06 Turbo S. I now of a few dealers that actually have several and they are willing to really work with a buyer (I was even thining about it if they would give me $60 -63K in a trade for mine and give me the TurboS at invoioce and swap some of the add ons that I did onto the new truck, like cat bypass pipes, diverter valves, running boards, wheel well moldings, taillights etc.)

I have an 04 cpo tt with 53k miles. The warranty is transferable. I would like to sell it so I can lease a new one through my group. PM me if you are interested.

Ideally, I'd want to keep the Gemballa exhaust, which sounds better than stock CTT, pedals & tips. All will depend on the trade-in for CS & deal on CTT.

We sold the Excursion because it didn't get used that much, now we really miss having that 3rd vehicle. I wanted to get something that would tow and we could take on trips. I think I want a Cayenne, but the new 07 X5 with the big V8 looks interesting.

The Cayenne/Touareg and the X5 are mechanically capable of towing, but the short wheelbase will make towing a long(er) trailer anywhere near the rated towing limit very different from the Excursion. Also expect much higher tire wear, especially on the insides due to camber settings, compared to the Excursion.
Also, the smaller tank (25 gallons vs 44 gallons), combined with 9-11mpg will make for a short towing range between fuel stops. With the Excursion, I could tow 400+ miles before getting down to a 1/4 tank.
Also, the lack of a dedicated towing mode on the transmission might be a small issue, especially when not towing on flats; 6th gear in a Cayenne is useless when towing and manual mode is almost a necessity.
