Flickering PSM Warning light?

Flickering PSM Warning light?
Hmmm... that can't be good.
I was doing about 70 around a bend and out the corner of my eye I saw the PSM Warning light on the dash blink maybe 3 or 4 times, fast flashes.
Ever heard of such a thing?

The Porsche Roadside Assistance card is suspended by a string, deep inside the inner workings of the Cayenne electronics.
When the Cayenne begins to tilt to one side, the aforementioned Roadside Assistance card will become jammed in one of two (redundant) hamster wheels, constructed using the highly accurate CDROM based NAV discs, rotating at high speed, causing the hamster to fall off the wheel due to the sudden deceleration.
At this point, the other hamster will depress the PSM button, open the rear window microswitch with the rear window acting as an aero brake, culminating in a simultaneous display of the "!" and "PHC Failure"

the attitue is detremined by the number of wrnings that the ! light is warning you of.
no warning to display = very happy
1 warning = happy
2 warnings = normal day in the life of a cayenne
3 warnings = unhappy
4+ warnings = pissed
the aungular velociy is determined by how qucikly the tires wear out
any angle between 0 and 89 degress will casue more tire wear then with the vechile parked

Burning Brakes

Maybe the hamsters in my 2004 S are just getting old and need to be replaced.
Thanks!

Had the same issue recently after replacing one flat tire with a new one. Replacement tire was a brand new One. Same issue like you had . Every right turn caused a flickering PSM light and limp mode. Last week I again had a flat tire because of a big screw I picked up somewhere on the road. Again I needed to replace the tire. Used a different brand and the PSM issue is gone

I can actually answer this one
Ha - I am going through this issue currently on my new to me 2006 CTT and was misdiagnosed by a P-Dealer as well. The vehicles attitude and angular velocity is measured by the Combination Sensor, which measures the following three values of the vehicles velocities in three in one sensor; Rate-of-turn, Axial acceleration and Transverse acceleration sensor. It's located under the center console on the transmission tunnel and it talks to the PSM control unit over the Internal CAN bus. I'm still working to confirm/isolate the fault to the module or other issue with my local independent. My symptoms are the dreaded PSM failure workshop light, but this was the only code Porsche found. Posting in hope it could possible help someone else.
