Talking Bluetooth!

No, not in the truck but in an Audi A-3. I love it! I still cannot comprehend why PAG cannot integrate this into their cars and trucks. I got the DSG transmission and it is fun to drive. It will be my Prius type vehicle and is a joy to drive.

I have answered this question at least half a dozen times before; either no one is listening or no one believes it.

Also, after putting in about 300 miles in the Porsche wagon today, oops! the Audi A-3, I noticed that the presets in the XM radio will scroll through just the presets from the steering wheel, and NOT channels 1-144 like on the P truck. ltc, who makes the Audi radios? Another novel ideal from Audi is to have the radios pre-wired for XM so that it can be added to the factory radio with minimal shop work required (think 2 hours) rather than spend many hours and dollars the Porsche way! Heaven forbid, but I might have to take the Q7 for a test ride. Sure it does not perform like my truck, but with the user friendly creature comforts, they might be bridging the gap!

I have a different perspective. Porsche is a pure sportscar/SUV company. Its focus is on automotive engineering, not electronics gadgets. If you're into Bluetooth, Voice Activated Controls and stuff like that, go with a Japanese make such a Lexus. That's what they're good at, and that's what their selling point is. By the same token, if your primary focus is luxury (rather than sporting dynamics), you wouldn't buy a Porsche either. You'd be better off with a Cadillac, Jaguar, or Range Rover. Those vehicles will pamper you with more luxurious leather interiors, more space, and more abundant woodwork. However, they won't have the same sort of build quality, and advanced race-bred engineering a Porsche will have. It all depends on what type of car you want.

I'll have to think about that statement ...
