Default Cayenne facelift?

Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a new SUV and have been looking at both the Cayenne S and the new ML 500. About 6 months ago i saw pictures of a facelifted cayenne, but nothing seems to of come out yet? I am just curious if anyone knows when or if Porsche is planning to release the facelifted cayenne, as I will hold off for a while if its coming in the next 6 months.

cheers,
bayles999

bayles999, I believe the "facelifted" Cayenne will be a '08 model. You're still a year away.

I just checked with the dealer last weekend. They confirmed there will be no '07 model. They said the facelifted version will come out next Feburary as an '08 model.

Thanks for the link Chriz!
The front does not look very different, I like the fog lights in the grill. I also like the rear bumper with the exhaust pipes going through like the new TT. More Porsche Evolution as oposed to revolution.

Now that PAG has worked out many of the minor problems that plagued the earlier Cayenne model years, it seems like a risk to jump on the band wagon during the first model year of the "new Cayenne." I am considering eventually trading in my 2004 CS on the facelifted version, but have some concerns about doing so in the first year of the new model. Anyone else have some concerns about that?

Hi Statman,

I'm in the same boat with you. Planning to upgrade my 2004 CS to a facelifted CTT. Even though I don't have much problem with my CS, I still will wait one year as my CS still has some warranty.

Tim--Yes, I agree with your idea to wait at least a year into the new Cayenne production.

Welcome len007. May I suggest starting a new thread and supplying lots of pictures of your new beast? Congratulations and welcome aboard.
