What did you base your "lack of sales" statement on?

IIRC, we had our Cayenne launch event on March 16th or 17th of 2003. IIRC again, the 2004's were at port, or approaching port, on that day. THey were released on or about april 1.."makes alot of sense" but it happened.
BTW, the titanium info is correct, IIRC(having fun with IIRC today)

Finally, somebody that I have some faith in.....ALFIE. I have no doubt (and never did) about the Ti edition coming. What I do NOT believe and will NOT until I see it is the intentionally skipping of a model year. They can have 2007 from August through March and then early release the 2008 in March/April.
I'm done with this thread. Done arguing with naive believers. When it happens, if it does, I will the first to own up to it and say, you guys had some credible info. But how many times have people come on here (including "connected" people) and made claims that never happened???
See you next March

Assuming for the moment that the rumour of the Titanium Package is correct, would it be a better deal than negotiating to buy the current model at near invoice? Based on history, would a special package have any collector value?

no 07
makes perfect sense. find a 98 mazda miata, there ain't no such beast. they ran 97 through to an early intro of the 99 model year (complete update). there are other examples. suppose they could do a run of '06s and badge them 07, but then someone would notice the build date.

I just bought a CS this weekend, sticker was $68.4K. They initially offered it to me for $62K, I ended up buying it for $60K.
Catena Porsche up the road had a similar CS that they offered me for $59K, basically the invoice price, but it didn't have the tow package, which was a necessity for me.

As reported in this month's Pano, all Porsche models sales were up, except the Cayenne; so I would expect that discounts/price negotiations will continue or perhaps increase.
