WAY O/T Here - Sorry, MY NEW BABY!!!!
Tweety Bird has arrived! Thought I would share a few pics.
The rundown:
1968 Euro 911S, PCA H-Prepared Running in G
Re-bodied as a 1973 Carrera RS
2,425 pounds empty!
RS Front Spindles
SC rear suspension (no short wheelbase for this driver!)
1975 911S engine with ~30 hours on a ground-up rebuild
1975 911S 915 5-speed transmission with similar times
16x7's up front wearing Hoosier 205/45ZR16's
16x9's out back wearing Hoosier 245/45ZR16's
And the money pit? 24' Haulmark Enclosed hauler, assorted RB Components storage "stuff", another set of Fuchs 16x9's and 16x7's, along with the set of Borbet wheels that came as rains (need ne rain tires - thinking about Kuhmo's), Rennline floorboards, Rennline Battery Box for the smuggler's compartment, Recaro profi SPG XL's (2), Teamtech RamPac 6-point harnesses (Yellow/Black/Black), Brey-Krause seat back support, who knows what else!
Man, this is gonna be fun!
Oh, yeah, and to make this post legal, I'm gonna tow this guy with my 2004 Cayenne S.

Congratulations
VERY nice looking car and appears to be well sorted.
I used the TeamTech Rampac for a season, VERY comfortable harness. I also had that seat as well, then moved up to the ProRacer SPG XL ('wings' added for lateral head containment).
Please tell me you have purchased a H&N restraint (ISAAC, HANS or R3); sorry on another web forum my official titile is the 'official safety savant'
If you're so inclined, you can change your headlight lenses from (clear) glass to shatterproof polycarbonate; I went with the yellow ones, which I would imagine would look good on your car:

Be sure to check out the Racing/DE forum; lots of experienced guys over in there.
Best of luck and enjoy

Just make sure that when you wear a HANS with the Rampac, the sternum strap is down low....far away from your neck....down somewhere around the bottom of the HANS yolks.
HANS has always been sort of 'wishy-washy' on the use of sternum straps; helps to keep the belts on the HANS, but needs to be far away from your neck when you take into account belt stretch and forward body movement in an impact.

My two cents is that PCA should require HANS restraints or the track should. The technology is here to save lives and thus we should take advantage of it. When I flew privately, it always blew VFR civilian trained guys away that I would "squawk and talk" to the air traffic controllers. Hey, it is always better to have another set of eyes looking out for you... same with car racing... SAFETY FIRST and ALWAYS... Get the H and N restraint ASAP, you'll never regret it, particularly, if it saves your life someday. Now go have fun in tweetie bird! COOL looking combo 911.

That thing got more sponge baths from the dealer than I did when I was at the 'vacation villa'.

I never did wash 'that other car'......the only time it bathed was the dealer.....who must have felt sorry for it (or embarassed to have it around the other clean cars) and washed it whenever it was in for service......
(for the record, I would always tell them, no thank you, don't bother)
Gone and Forgotten........memo to self: Format Hard Disk Drive to erase any remaining photos.....forget Photoshop.

BTW, Lewis. Nice color for your trailer. My Haulmark is the exact, same color without the pointy front. Also has the 48" side door.

Actually, my bride picked the color......something like
"If you're going to park that thing in the driveway, at least make it match the house".......
I told her I was going down to the local trailer comapny to buy a trailer for my son's kart....for the record, the kart fits in there just fine.
