QJ4 - Exterior Package Black

That price is not too bad. There have only been two 06's go through the Manheim auctions. One sold for $92,500 w/ 25 miles and the other for $86,000 with 3500 miles. The price will drop quickly after you buy - an 05 might represent a better value. If you like the car you can probably negotiate the dealer down a little. They will have access to the above numbers and will not likely go near or below $86K.
What is the sticker price?
Is the vehicle CPO?

That "quote" I gave is right what KBB is saying for my S online today... and what the dealer offered (initial wag) on trading it for a 997. Granted I have high mileage but even when I backed it down on KBB site to "normal" it only bumped the value by 2-3 grand.. so I'd say a 3 year old Cayenne with low mileage at BEST would be 40% depreciation... that really isn't "BAD" but it certainly isn't what you see on 911's. I stand by my commentary... the good -- the bad -- and the ugly of 'um.

PAG is interested in shareholder value and selling as much units as possible. Porsche isnt the niche sports car maker that it used to be 10 years ago.

Dealers will usually use Galves when determining trade in values. You can buy a very inexpensive Galves subscripton for $8 and run your car(s) thru and see.
Also, FWIW, my 996TT ($131K MSRP, 5K miles....my garage queen) is currently "worth" $70-$75K.
It means nothing, since I'll never sell the car (sentimental reasons, it was my first Porsche).....still waiting for the EPA exemption so I can be buried in it.
Since the debut of the Boxster (the true beginning of the Dr W regime), all Porsches have been/will be 'overproduced'. That's why 993TT values are the same as 996 values (ignoring inflation, original purchase price, etc)....there are simply more 9x6, 9x7 variants on the road compared to 993.
The current marketing/business plan (PAG stopped being an engineering company when Dr W grabbed the helm) is for an "ample" supply of all Porsches, new and CPO, across all product lines and across all price ranges....a Porsche for every person.......hey, I don't write the news, I only report it. It is what it is.
