Anyone know about any laws (in Illinois) or anywhere for that matter against these taillights? They claim to have normal visibility when engaged.
If I am reading this correctly...there are no restrictions on smoked tailights in IL.

They may not call out smoked tail lights specifically, but may specifiy light visibility ranges.

Texas DOT says you need 100 foot visibility for parking lights and 500 foot visibility for brake lights.
