Default Horn Troubles

I was beeping the horn (OK, leaning on it .. hey I'm in NY) and it spontaneously turned into a lame goose call - has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah it's happened to me once. Apparently one horn was faulty; they changed both... Problem is back again, I have to get it checked next time I bring it in

Actually, this is an anti-NY-er "leaning on it" embarassment feature.. when a NY-er "leans" on his horn for more than a second.. Porsche put a high pitch/lame goose call default horn so that the driver of a Porsche will not "embarass" the Porsche line with any more attempts to move inferior vehicles out of the way with his HORN.

Uh-hum... A Porsche is meant to be driven with people gawking at it by SLOWLY (preferably with a slightly high RPM to have the exhaust tones heard) AND NOT overtly drawing attention to it with a "HORN" (or goose call, if you will) blast!
