I have sent the guy some questions about the wheels and am waiting for a response, namely, will he escrow the purchase. Can't say for sure that it is fraudulent, which is why it hasn't been reported. If all of his auctions are "private bidders" would they be able to leave feedback? Normally the feedback lists the buyer so maybe it is not available w/a private bidder auction.

Keep waiting. I sent an email asking for more pictures the first time he posted the listing. Still waiting

You are able to leave feedback for a private listing, but the link to the auction won't be viewable.

None of this sounds very good. So, I am eager to see the feedback left by the buyer of the alleged previous set of technos...and we also wait for answers to questions.

I lost out on a set of TechArt 22" wheels, and shortly thereafter received two "second chance offers" to purchase the wheels sent to my email address. What a bunch of nonsense. A lot of scammers out there.

That's the main reason for a legitimate (key word here) seller to make a listing private, so that bidders wouldn't be subjected to scammers offering crap off eBay.
