Well...for some reason...the VW badge and the differences in which a TREG is NOT a Cayenne turns people's heads. I don't look twice at a VW, and wouldn't buy one. When I test drove one before buying my Cayenne, the handling and feel WAS different ...I bought the Porsche

Yes they changed my Amp and CD changer on the first visit, with no luck.

Yup...just a Rookie...I thought this was one of the benefits of owning a Cayenne S, frequently visiting friends at the service department. Luckily the dealership is only about 2 miles from my office.

YIKES! Does this mean NO ipod integration?

I was told official launch date of June 2006, with some dealers getting their delieveries starting in late March.

You mean we're not going to get these?

Once you look at the Q7 let us know which part of this FUGLY automobile you really like. If there ever was a 'socker mom' car, the Q7 is it. I saw one on the autobahn and told my wife ' hey that was a really nice looking Pacifica'...'oh sorry that was a Q7'. I'm sorry, but Audi could have remained within the beautiful lines of the 'A' series. JW

Who cares about looks. The Cayenne isn't exactly a beauty queen, especially from the rear. Put a pig in a dress, it's still a pig.

Can the damned thing tow, without setting off alarms, shutting off lights?
If so, I don't care what it looks like.

Apart from that, I have no opinion.

Yup, figured that. Sorry to hear about your problems, but as I mentioned, I am confident it can be fixed

Mine is an hour away. Like yourself, I don't consider it service appointments, more socializing. My dealer deserves an award, they're excellent.

If you go to your Audi dealer, they should be putting out iPod integration posters right about now.

Press and launch vehicles should ship Ingolstadt late March or so.

I wouldn't think that the best way to combat repair fatigue would be to buy the very first version of a brand new model.

Or in the case of the Cayenne, the 2nd year production (04).

My service writer (who is actually my neighbor) still doesn't think it's safe to buy a Cayenne of any type but I took the plunge without his blessing.

.....have a good time. I will watch the WC on TV - I don't care for the rowdies and my popcorn and beer are better and readily available.
I might be in Poland this summer for a few days. Summer is better. JW
