Alex,

About all you can do is estimate a percentage of power lost through the drivetrain (maybe 10%??) and figure your crank HP from there. Unless, of course, you want to pull your engine and havie it dyno'ed seperately...

A lot of our buddies here on the Rennlist are a lot smarter than I, so maybe someone will have a more scientific method for figuing crank HP. But, I don't know of one.

Nice increase from your base run, btw!

I read once that MB's ratio is 25% reduction from crank to wheel so the 432 = 540, sweet ! I dont know what the Cayenne should be, I am sure someone will tho.

Congrats Alex

Alex, you got a tweeked Turbo.. do you really need to know the Crank HP.... here's my answer if someone is razzing you about HP at the crank or the wheels... you smile nicely and say...

"My Turbo is pretty quick " and then say Horsepower at the crank? "CRANK THIS!"

Great results Alex! I'm sorry I couldn't go with you to support you but I had to be at that funeral service In any case guys the drive train loss on a Mustang AWD is closer to 27%.

Also remember Alex' number are ALL WHEEL HP and NOT REAR WHEEL Good stuff buddy and one strong car.. I mean truck...

Consider it as a voltage drop along a long cable.

Actually multiple rotating things with ratios stepping up or down and the friction that comes with it.

Default Cost?

Thanks Alex for sharing the all wheel dyno results on your CTT. As u know I have an '05 CTT with the same perf. mods and was very interested to see the results. They're GREAT!

I have noticed a big improvement in driveability and performance of my CTT and those numbers just confirm the "seat of the pants" improvement.

By the way how much did the dyno run cost and how long did it take?

Thanks,
Dave

Default One more question...

And Alex, was the transmission left in Auto or a particular gear for the test? I"m guessing they used second gear only?

Thanks again,
Dave

I think they used 3rd and 4th tip, that's what I heard them yell,LOL

Also cost $125, takes a long time to prep, have to remove under carriage covers, and attach the hooks etc, i was there for 2 1/2 hours...

Absolutely Dave... Alex' car and your car have the same K&N filters, Fabspeed Bypass pipes and the Flash so your results should be almost the same

PS Thanks for coming out all that way to see us!
