Aerodynamic Wheel Weights
The 30 gram aerodynamic wheel weight, in the lower right corner, was a factory-original weight, on my MY ’05 Mercedes. My attempt at locating a source for that component was not successful. But I did locate a similar weight.
The plombco CCS Series wheel weights provide a much cleaner solution for wheel balancing than the standard, snap-off weight strips.
These were purchased through Mohawk Rubber Sales of N.E. (800) 242-1446.

Wingless,
You truly do have too much time on your hands to come up with stuff like this
Aerodynamic wheel weights on a 5000# SUV that cuts thru the air about as efficiently as the Space Shuttle flies.
If I ever clean my wheels, I'll put these on.

Good grief, the list of unreasonable Cayenne requirements keeps growing:
1. you have to put oil in the engine, even after 56K miles
2. you have to actually change the oil and filter more than once
3. you have to change the brake pads and rotors
4. you're supposed to wash and wax the thing
I only change the wiper blades because:
a. the sound drives me nuts
b. I can't see where I'm driving......which is important, since I want to aim for the cliff so I take the Cayenne to it's death with me.
This Cayenne is becoming just a little too high maintenance for me.
