The owner's manual shows a little plastic stick with a arrow indicating you just pull it out the back after having removed the access cover from the back of the bi-xenon headlamp unit. Trouble is, it doesn't appear to want to budge. Twisting didn't help and the plastic stick eventually broke halfway up on me.

Is there anything on the Cayenne that ISN'T PLASTIC???

Oh, now THAT was helpful!

When I pulled the indicated tab to the point that the d*mn thing broke in half, it occurred to me that there may be some trick that the scant text in the manual is leaving out. Hard to see precisely what the parts look like until they're apart. Guess not... mine must just be stuck.

Truthfully, I haven't spent much time on the Cayenne forum as most of my interest is on my 993 and that forum's technical discussions on everything from suspension mods to SAI flush procedures. Big difference in knowledge and feedback here vs. there. For Cayennes, nobody (including myself) can even describe how to change a bloody light bulb!

Such is the reality of cars still under warranty I guess.
