1-2X/day quick grinding sound?
My wife's CT a couple time s day makes a 1 sec. grinding sound. i have only heard it once, it sounds perhaps from the front diff.
both my mech.s said CT's make funny noises... ignore it[and of course it won't happen when the mech is test driving]. but my wife is wondering....
anyone else have this internittent grinding sound?

Get what you are describing (I think) occasionally- almost always when turning across sand or gravel...I think it is traction control engaging as the wheels turn at different rates.
Had the dealer check it out, and they adjusted the steering wheel angle sensor; happens much less frequently now.
